Junior Development Scholarship Announcement and Application

New Deadline for submissions January 31, 2012

During the time period when the Junior Development Scholarship application was to be submitted, the SCR Website went down and many of our juniors and their parents were unable to obtain the application from the web site.

Scott Greenwood, Chairman of the South Central Region Junior Development Committee attempted to send out the application by email, but he and the Junior Development Committee soon realized as the deadline came and went and after many email exchanges that the majority of junior skiers were unable to find the application and thus unable to apply.

Scott Greenwood then contacted the Committee members and the members of the Committee voted to extend the deadline. We then discovered that to recreate an entire website would take longer than anticipated.

Today, the South Central Region Website is again available to the membership.

The Junior Development Scholarship Application is once again available to all our junior members.

The deadline for submission is now January 31, 2012. The application must be mailed / postmarked to every committee member on or before January 31, 2012.

The names and addresses of the committee members are found on page 2 of the application. The submission must be mailed.

Those few juniors who were able to find the application and mail it to the committee members, WILL NOT need to resubmit their application.

All applications will be reviewed after the deadline and those Juniors awarded a scholarship will be notified by February 17, 2012.

We appreciate all our Junior Parents and Skiers for their patience this year during this process.

Should you have further questions regarding this issue, please email Scott Greenwood. His email address is: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
