About

I Love Competitive Waterskiing. I was brought up in the boat with my parents Rose and Fred Krueger, my older sister Lori Krueger Covington, and my younger brother, Freddy Krueger. We traveled all over the Midwest every summer weekend skiing, camping, and playing. My parents skied into their 70's and still officiate and cheer us all on including their 6 grandchildren. I too raised my two sons in the boat and on the lake. It's not just a hobby but a way of life for all of us. We play and grow in this sport constantly. My boys are off to college, but about once a month they come home bringing friends and spend the weekend skiing. This has been a new stage of skiing in my life and it is just as much fun or more as when I was teaching them new tricks or pulling a pb when they were in Boys 1. I skied in college for NLU, I skied as a new homeowner on a private lake, I quit jumping for a whole year when I became a mom and after several crashes. Then I took it back up again and skied in my first World's Ski Championship in jump only. I skied for a US team in Bogata, Columbia. There have been two knee surgeries and a neck injury over the years, the most recent knee surgery in March. I am a proud member of "The Come Back Crew." These ladies and I have been very competitive skiers in the past and plan on being very competitive in the future. We are making slow progress! Last year I medaled in tricks at the regionals getting my first medal in over 6 years. This year I won my event. If you come to love waterskiing half as much as I do you, will find it an extremely positive portion of your life!
