We will be utilizing a Google Sheet (link above) that will serve as the official practice schedule and will be updated live by the Official Practice Coordinator Tina Lindsey. Please note the following stipulations apply: Sign-ups are offered to participants after they have registered and paid entry to the 2020 SC Regional by MasterCraft AND payment to Paypal account: smrrpoa@lsfdev.com must be completed before you will be entered on the practice schedule ($30/set). Please note: PRACTICE in text box. Limit 1 set per event per registered skier. Skiers will receive 4 passes for slalom 2 passes for trick 3 jumps. The official scheduled practice day is Thursday July 23 from 12 Noon to 6pm ONLY Each boat will have one assigned driver and one assigned rope handler. One pin person will be allowed during tricks only. All practice allotments will be designated live and spots will be filled as they are received (per email time-stamp). Election, Annual Membership Meeting: The 2020 SCR Election and Annual Membership Meeting will be held Friday, July 24, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the meeting will be held online via Zoom and will commence shortly after the completion of the day's competition. Invitations for the Zoom meeting will be emailed to the address on file with USAWS&WS. The meeting agenda can be found here.
AWSA Rule 3.03.F.3
TOURNAMENTS WITH PLACEMENT: Skiers with a level 9 or 10 qualification in one or two events and skiing in a tournament with placement, such as Regional or National tournaments, and skiing for age division Overall may ski in the Elite division for placement and must also ski a second time in their age division event, for Overall score purposes only, if desiring to compete for age division Overall placement. If skiing for Elite division Overall, skiers may ski in the age division for placement in any event in which they do not hold a level 10 rating, and, in that circumstance, also ski a second time in the skiers’ Elite division in that event for overall score purposes only.
The Rules Committee has made an Interpretation regarding 3.03F3 and F4
Interpretation: A skier who is Open qualified but also 35+ may ski for Overall in the Masters Division, if overall Masters qualified, as an age division skier as defined in Rule 3.03F3 and F4. This Interpretation applies ONLY to the Masters Division.
