If you missed out on the Barefoot Masters event in Seguin, Texas, it was a very special event that exhibited amazing talent, country pride and outstand support at a great site. Conditions were amazing and the variety of ages participating was fun to watch.
The other event that was amazing was the NCWSA National Championship in Martindale, Texas. University of Louisiana - Lafayette, University of Alabama and University of Louisiana-Monroe pushed each other for another nail biting finish in Division 1. Texas A&M was the winner from Division 2. The SMRR team did a great job of hosting and Kelvin Kelm continued his success with sharing via webcast of this event.
We also have some confirmed regional records from Floyd McCreight (slalom), Tina Lindsey (jump & overall) and Kandise Bertelson (slalom). Congratulations to these outstanding representatives from the SCR for setting new achievements.
Tina was also a member of the Gold Medal 35+ World Team. An added congratulations to her and Team USA for team and individual medalists is warranted.
