Tournaments are rolling along! Most of our Sanctions have been submitted and approved. Please use caution when editing the sanctions. If you edit your sanction, it is automatically rescinded, and you will not be able to download the scorebook template. The system is a little touchy this year, and sometimes it will not let me approve and save, so I have to go back and try again later. Please DO NOT edit your sanction within 3 days of your tournament. If you need to edit a tournament 7-4 days before the start date, please send me a text @ 832-545-7268, so that I can quickly attend to it.
Get your Head Tax in once those tournaments end! Head Tax is $4.00 per skier. Please send a check to Kathy Ives with your club name, tournament name, and date. Her address is 219 River Ranch Circle, Martindale, Tx 78655.
Do you need a Safety clinic, or do you just need to become a safety director? Chief Safety’s are a vital part of a tournament, yet one of the easier official ratings to obtain. The first step is to attend a clinic which then makes you a Safety Coordinator, and then by serving as an Assistant Chief Safety at three tournaments as well as getting certified in CPR and First Aid, you can then become a State Safety. As a State Safety you can be the Chief Safety and go onto a tournament sanction. Lakes of Cypress Hill will be hosting a Safety clinic on June 29th, following their tournament on Saturday the 28th. The registration system has been updated, and tournament organizers can more easily send tournament updates. Be sure to be on the lookout for those and do not dismiss them as spam. Read them and be in the know!
We are accepting bids for the 2026 SCR Regional Championships! Please let us know if you or your club has any interest. We are open to one lake sites as our numbers have dropped to about 160 skiers over the last few years.
