JD weekend was a big hit! A note from the Chief Judge

Dear Skiers, Parents, Lakes of Cypress Hill Homeowners, Lauren Malitz, Officials, and Volunteers,

I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful Jr. Development weekend. Special thanks to Nick Drew and the Lakes of Cypress Hill Homeowners for sponsoring the event. It is always a pleasure to support our junior skiers as they develop their skills and build lifelong friendships through this sport.

Lauren Malitz, you and the JD committee have created an excellent environment for these athletes to succeed, both on and off the water, by helping them set and achieve their goals.  It is such a joy to watch the kids develop friendships and memories through JD.  

It was an honor to lead the event. While we faced a few challenges, we successfully achieved our goals and helped to create some excellent skiing.   

I would like to specifically thank:

  - Eric Baird - Mr. Buzz Lightning: For keeping everyone safe.

  - Susan: For your knowledge and competence.

  - Jerry Bautsch and all the drivers: For excellent driving and Safe rides.

  - The Malitz Family, Ken Buchheit, Mark Chambers, and the Drews Family For providing top-tier boats.

Nick and the LACHOA Homeowners, thank you for your incredible hospitality and for the "red carpet" treatment provided to the junior skiers, officials, and volunteers.

I look forward to watching our SCR juniors excel in both waterskiing and life.
